Sailing, on one of our "Sunfish" sailing dinghies, is a must do activity on our camping cruises. More sailors have learned the basics of sailing on a sunfish than any other boat -- for very good reason. They are very simple and forgiving for novices and these fast little sailing dinghies can also provide an exciting sailing adventure for the more experiencd.

Like the kayaks, these versataile sailing craft, are suitable for sailing / exploring trips into mangrove creeks  and hidden lagoons,  sailing thrills and spills in light surf, sailing / snorkeling trips through coral reefs and sailing / fishing trips further out to sea.

Passages on the mother ship can hardly be classified as a sailing experience, seeing as the modest sailing rig serves only as an assist for the motors. However,  tearing along at twenty knots, with the sail pulling mightily and the ultra quiet engines  barely audible in the background, is perhaps the closest thing to being aboard a maxi , round the world sailing catamaran - that most of us will ever experience.
